Dr Hal Rice and Dr Laetitia de Villiers receive a distinguished award for their commitment to Gold Coast

Last night we celebrated and recognised the achievements of BE Connected Gold Coast Ambassadors for their contributions towards promoting, supporting and securing business events for the city.

More than 90 people attended a lavish gala event at HOTA, Home of the Arts to acknowledge 19 of the city’s industry leaders, thought leaders and innovators that make up the business events ambassador program.

Six ambassadors received distinguished awards for their contributions, commitment and support for business events including Dinesh Palipana OAM, Ezekiel Tan, Professor Emeritus Ljubo Vlacic, Mark von Itzstein AO, Hal Rice and Laetitia de Villiers.

With the support of these ambassadors, we are working together to get the edge over competitors so that the city is the first destination that comes to mind when planning a business event.
